Shrek has a friend in the movies, the Donkey. Another of their friends is Puss in Boots. Apart from these characters, the Shrek movies contain famous characters from old fairytales. These characters include the Gingerbread Man, the big Bad Wolf, the Pied Piper, the Three Little Pigs and the three Blind Mice. A new villain who is a con artist is introduced in the latest movie; his name is Rumplestilskin.
